My primary goal as a candidate for State Representative in the 16th Worcester District is to uphold the values of our community's working families.

In these times of severe budgetary cutbacks, someone needs to stand up for Worcester’s working families who are struggling for economic survival and crying out for recognition and support from Beacon Hill. I am not afraid to take a stand and speak out against the inequities on Beacon Hill. I will work to support the interests of Worcester's families.

I decided to become a candidate for State Representative because the incumbent has failed to represent the hardworking, middle-class families of the 16th Worcester District and has failed to fight for their interests on Beacon Hill.

If elected, my top priorities will be to ensure affordable healthcare for everyone, particularly seniors, to fight for quality public education for Worcester's youth, and to bring good jobs to our community.

We need to get state government back on track. We need men and women who are committed to the belief that everyone - rich and poor - individuals and big corporations, must play by the same set of rules, share the same burdens and act responsibly toward one another.
